Bodywork Style

My practice is centered around using a variety of techniques to help my clients find ease. I specialize in deep tissue and myofascial techniques, cupping therapy, and assisted stretching. My goals are to facilitate the body in creating more space, increase range of motion and overall mobility, and generally assist in improving quality of life with the goal of less pain and more function.

With a firm, yet flowy style, I try to access deeper layers of fascia without the pain that is generally associated with deeper work. I believe a key aspect to working with the body is promoting the settling of the nervous system while working within the body’s limits.

I am an avid and eager learner, constantly incorporating new techniques and continuing to develop my understanding of anatomy, structure, and human function. Because of this, my understanding of the human body is constantly evolving and shifting. I have big goals for how my practice will evolve to better suit the needs of my clients. In the Fall of 2024, I will start my schooling towards becoming an Anatomy Trains Structural Integration Practitioner.

Aligned Massage Therapy came into being in 2021 and is proudly a safe, inclusive space that is centered in giving EVERY body non-invasive, therapeutic touch with a focus on transformation and alignment. I resonate and bring into my practice, the belief that when our bodies are celebrated and cared for, we can embody change and growth with more ease.
